Languages did not fall out of the sky. They have evolved over time. Words describing new things and experiences are borrowed from other languages. Most of the languages spoken today are words from other languages and are related. For example, English has many words ‘borrowed’ from other languages. Learning another language will help you understand your own language better and give you a different angle of understanding. Learning a new language will also help you understand communication in general.
